Place your phone on the floor and the Android proximity sensor counts reps hands-free. Sensitivity is adjustable, and manual tap controls are always available.

Adaptive Workouts

Today's Workout is generated from your max rep test and a simple Goldilocks feedback loop. Endurance and strength sessions alternate automatically.

Progress Tracking

Streaks, daily reps, completed sessions, and max rep history — visualized on the Progress screen with filters by type and date range.

Form Guidance

A dedicated Form tab covers proper push-up technique, common mistakes, and coaching cues. Short cues also rotate on-screen during workouts.

Rest That Fits You

Separate rest defaults for endurance (60s) and strength (90s) workouts. Adjust mid-set with ±10s controls and your preference is remembered.

Guided & adaptive

A 3–5 set routine generated from your current max. After each session you answer Too easy / Just right / Too hard, and the next workout of that style nudges up or down.

02 · Free Session

Open-ended counting

Tap or use Auto-Sense to count for as long as you like. Great for casual sets, drop-ins, or warming up.

03 · Max Rep Test

Recalibrate your baseline

An all-out test that updates your personal best and rebuilds the difficulty curve for Today's Workout. The app will gently remind you when it's time to retest.

How the adaptive engine works

Two workout styles alternate on an automatic E · E · S cadence — two endurance sessions, then one strength session — driven by completed routines rather than calendar days.

  • Endurance: 5 sets at ~45% of your max, default 60s rest.
  • Strength: 3 sets at ~60% of your max, default 90s rest.
  • Goldilocks feedback shifts the next workout of that style by roughly two total reps — endurance and strength progress independently.

You can override the recommended style for a single session. No streaks to break, no punishment for taking a day off.

Privacy-first by design

  • No account required.
  • No cloud sync. No backend. No advertising SDKs. Optional analytics can be disabled in Settings.
  • Workout data and preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • No camera or microphone is used for rep counting — only the optional proximity sensor.
  • Reminders are scheduled locally; no remote push notifications.
