This Privacy Policy applies to the Vitamin Push-Up mobile application ("Vitamin Push-Up," "the app," "we," "us," or "our").
Summary
Vitamin Push-Up is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly. The app does not require an account, does not collect your name or email address, and does not sell user data.
Workout details and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app also uses Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic app usage and improve the app. Limited analytics events may be sent to Google/Firebase when Analytics is enabled. You can turn Analytics off at any time in the app's Settings screen.
Information We Collect
A. Information stored locally on your device
Vitamin Push-Up stores app-related information locally on your device so the app can function properly. This may include:
- Workout sessions and rep counts
- Routine set results
- Max rep test results
- Streaks and progress statistics
- App preferences
- Reminder and notification settings
- Auto-Sense sensitivity
- Whether you have accepted the Terms of Service
This information is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
B. Analytics information
When Analytics is enabled, the app may send limited usage events to Firebase Analytics, such as app opens, screen views, and workout completion events, along with standard app and device information (app version, device model, operating system version). Analytics data is used in aggregated or non-identifying form to understand app usage and improve the app. If you disable Analytics in Settings, analytics collection is turned off for your installation.
Information We Do Not Collect
Vitamin Push-Up does not collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your precise GPS location (we do not request location permission)
- Your contacts
- Your photos, videos, or audio files
- Your messages
- Health records or medical information
- Raw proximity sensor readings or continuous sensor samples
- Payment card information
Note: Analytics reports from Firebase/Google may include coarse geographic information inferred from technical or network data, such as country or region, depending on how Firebase Analytics processes that data. We do not request or receive precise location.
Auto-Sense and Device Sensors
Vitamin Push-Up may use your device's proximity sensor to support Auto-Sense rep counting. Proximity sensor readings are processed locally on your device to help detect push-up movement. We do not send raw proximity sensor readings, distance measurements, or continuous sensor samples to Firebase or any other server.
We may send only high-level analytics events related to Auto-Sense usage, such as whether Auto-Sense was available or how many reps in a completed workout were counted through Auto-Sense.
Vitamin Push-Up does not use the camera or microphone for rep counting.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Vitamin Push-Up may request permission to send notifications and may schedule local notifications on your device. These reminders are generated locally by the app. We do not use remote push notifications at this time.
Purchases
If offered, Vitamin Push-Up may include an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock a support reminder feature. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
We may log limited analytics events related to support reminder views or purchase button interactions (for example, whether a purchase flow was initiated). These events do not include payment details.
Google Play may process information related to your purchase according to Google's own policies.
Analytics and Third-Party Services
We use Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to understand app usage and improve Vitamin Push-Up. Firebase Analytics may receive limited app usage events, app and device information, and app-instance identifiers.
We have configured Firebase Analytics to disable Advertising ID collection and ad personalization signals. We do not use Firebase Analytics to collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, audio, or raw sensor data.
Vitamin Push-Up does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell user data.
If optional Google Play Billing is enabled, purchase processing is handled by Google Play.
Google may process analytics data according to Google's and Firebase's own terms and policies.
How We Use Information
Locally stored app information is used only to provide app functionality, such as tracking workouts, saving preferences, managing reminders, and remembering whether the support reminder should be shown.
Analytics information is used to:
- Understand which screens and features are used
- Improve onboarding and workout flows
- Troubleshoot general engagement issues
- Understand aggregate workout completion patterns
- Evaluate optional support reminder and purchase flow engagement
We do not use analytics for advertising or ad personalization.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal user data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not share raw workout history or raw sensor readings with any third party.
Locally stored app data remains on your device unless you choose to back up, transfer, or share your device data through your operating system or device settings.
When Analytics is enabled, limited analytics data is transmitted to Google/Firebase. Google/Firebase acts as a service provider for analytics purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
Vitamin Push-Up stores app data locally on your device for as long as the app remains installed or until you delete the data by uninstalling the app, clearing app data through your device settings, or using any deletion/reset features available in the app.
Analytics data retained by Firebase/Google is subject to Firebase/Google Analytics retention settings and policies. Turning off Analytics in Settings stops future analytics collection from your installation, but may not delete analytics events already processed by Firebase.
Because the app does not require user accounts, we may not be able to associate past analytics events with a specific person.
Your Choices
- Analytics: You can disable Analytics in the app's Settings screen. When disabled, analytics collection is turned off for your installation.
- Local app data: You can delete local app data by uninstalling the app, clearing app data through your device settings, or using in-app reset or delete features if available.
- Notifications: You can disable reminders through the app's settings or your device's notification settings.
Security
Local app data is stored on your device using normal device storage mechanisms. Analytics data is transmitted to Google/Firebase through Firebase SDKs. You can help protect your local data by keeping your device secure and using your device's passcode, biometric lock, and operating system security updates. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children's Privacy
Vitamin Push-Up is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Vitamin Push-Up is a general fitness utility. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. You should consult a qualified health professional before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any medical condition, injury, or concern.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

Use of the app is also governed by our Terms of Service.
